Tawni Fears is a writer, dreamer, and believer in the mantra that your passions never leave you. Fears is the founder of The Tawni Logues, a freelance writing company offering services in biographies, write-ups, press releases, editing, information for websites, and even more. She works in the music industry full time while serving as a contributing writer for Rolling Out magazine, AllHipHop.com, and Crème Magazine. She has extended herself by working with people in various fields such as, WNBA players, rappers, marketing companies, and new businesses.

Fears is constantly encouraged by her love of God, and she will tell you how good he has been to her. She has spoken on panels and at Career Days to reach the young adults and show them their visions are possible with perseverance and she gathers strength from those who are proud of all she’s done. Tawni gives back by working with teen males in-group homes, where she hosts workshops to teach them to use writing to get pass their hurt. She believes that her impact in the community has been to help others pursue their dream even when faced with opposition.

Through every encounter with self-doubt, she watched as everything fell into place, realizing that there is never a reason to give up. Fears knows that to be successful you must believe in yourself first and foremost, but in order to achieve something you must speak it, breathe it, and remember that you can accomplish it. Remembering her own journey to her profession, Fears states that “the low moments will only make your story better.” As a professional, she realizes the importance of giving back and she knows that being in a place of complacency is not the way to be better, but serving someone else in order to help them find and follow their dreams is. Fears states, “success isn’t about what you have, but what you do with it.” She is using her ability to help those in her community be the person they believe they can be.
