Kenneth L. Wright Jr.

COMPANY:  KleanCollar

AGE: 25

LOOKING FOR:  Financial investors and partnerships

Kenneth L. Wright Jr. has always been an ambitious guy with his eye on the prize. Five years in corporate America led Wright to discover his next purpose in life: KLWJ Enterprises, LLC in 2009. He plans to move his small business into a big business but as of today he is simply transitioning his resources to the company’s newest initiative. KleanCollar is an apparel accessory made to prevent the unsightly “dirt ring” from forming on collared shirts with a comfortable and nearly invisible insert. Wright’s goal is to place the product in fine clothiers and department stores everywhere. Wright wants to extend the life of collared shirts to keep his customers looking professional at all times while spending a considerably less amount of money on dry cleaning.

The driving force behind Wright’s vision as he describes, is his team and their ability to have passion, ambition, creativity, and their strive for excellence (P.A.C.E). Wright also gives back to the community through his 501c3 non-profit, The KLWJ Foundation, by providing innovative ideas and job opportunities to support local high schools, colleges, and surrounding communities. With seven pillars of focus, the foundation hosts its “Dressed to Impress” quarterly program that partners with nearby high schools and colleges to educate them in the matters of professional and interview etiquette. The program also has three initiatives that must be achieved annually: a scholarship competition for rising high school seniors and current college students, an annual clothing drive, and multiple community events that collaborate with several local-based non-profit entities.

Wright exemplifies the skills and drive needed to be successful. As an entrepreneur, Wright’s vision is to develop KleanCollar from an idea to a physical product while providing professionals with a solution to a common problem. In addition to pursuing his business endeavors, he educates, empowers, and encourages his fellow colleagues while being a mentor for younger entrepreneurs so that they can view his path while following their own.
