“The biggest mistake people make in life is not trying to make a living at doing what they most enjoy.” — Malcolm Forbes, publisher of Forbes Magazine

Long before the launch of her company to help individuals find volunteer and work opportunities, Chevon Hines found her passion through leadership involvement on campus. During her time as a student at Georgia State University (GSU), Hines learned about the National Collegiate Entrepreneurs’ Organization (CEO) in fall of 2010 and fell in love with all it stood for. CEO dealt with inspiring and cultivating the minds of college students with an unquestionable passion for entrepreneurship.

Hines saw an opportunity to bring this organization to GSU and driven by ambition, she spoke with the CEO National Office about starting a chapter as well as recruiting interested students. In the spring of 2011, a new chapter of CEO was chartered on campus, and Hines became the first president and founder using her past history of leadership and service skills to make this organization a success.

Since graduating from college, Hines founded The Chevon Hines Enterprises LLC. Her business educates those with an interest in becoming self-made while providing resources and events within the community. Her goal is to help people find internships and volunteer and professional work opportunities that will help individuals to launch their careers. An advocate for students and her community, Hines motivates and encourages her readers to dream big and to never let fear hinder them from realizing their visions.
